Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcano in Tanzania. It has three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world: 5,895 metres above sea level and about 4,900 metres above its plateau base. To hike Mount Kilimanjaro depending on the route and the pace of the itinerary. A few brave record breakers have occasionally done it in just one day! 

The Marangu Route is the most popular of the trails among mountaineers because of the permanent huts along the trail that provide an alternative to camping. The trail is 64km long and can be done in 5 or 6 days
